Our farm is now closed, but our self-serve roadside stand remains open for cash purchases of squash, pumpkins, straw bales, and firewood.

Thank you for a wonderful “farewell season” at the farm ♥

Our 2020 Season Begins!

Posted on: September 22nd, 2020 by Shantz Family Farm

As our family celebrates 150 years of farming history, this year certainly looks different.

Our roadside stand is now open daily 8 am – 8 pm until Nov 1st for cash purchases of pumpkins, squash, gourds, corn stalks & straw bales.

Our U-Pick & Pay Pumpkin Patch is open as well as Farmer Kev’s One-of-a-Kind Corn Maze.

In following Public Health Guidelines, please adhere to physical distancing at all times and face coverings are encouraged. Hand sanitizing is available.

  • During this Covid season, please limit the length of your visit to a reasonable amount of time.
  • There will be no wagon rides offered , or any food or drink purchases available. We discourage any outside food or drink brought to the farm.
  • We already have many family dogs at our farm. Kindly leave your pets at home.
  • Please bring your own wagon or cart if necessary to help carry your purchases.
  • Park only in the designated parking area and refrain from roadside parking. Entrance to the farm should be made from the parking area only. There may be wait times to enter the farm, so please bear that in mind and plan your visit accordingly.

These are different times, but we thank you for your patience and kind words of encouragement as we navigate our way to open our farm as safely as possible to visitors and celebrate an amazing 150 years of Shantz family farming history!

Hi, is your corn maze open this year?

    • Shantz Family Farm says:

Sorry for the late reply – we recently opened our corn maze and it will be open until Nov 1st for visitors.

I’m saddened to hear about your snack shack not being open. We’ve been coming here for so many years. We always bought your pumpkin pie and tarts. I rave to everyone I know that your pies are THE BEST in the entire region and beyond. Is there anyway we can order your pies. It’s the one thing I look forward to all year. Please don’t let COVID take this away too. Thanks.
